Peace Memorial Day...holiday...

after a rowdy night with blasting music... (those ang mo partying yest),I slept till 11+ today....as it is a public holiday, initiatally we planned to continue our shopping but then evryone woke up late n v feel v lazy then in the end we stay in hostel the whole afternoon...eating cupnoodles for lunch...n sweeped n mopped the floor. Then we slack all the way until evening..and we suddendly remember that we can watch the sun set..coz we heard from the dean of international affairs that xi zi wan has the most beautiful sunset. So we brought our camera and went down to the bench outside our hostel. although a bit small the sun...but then it is really veri nice...just like the egg yolk in mooncake...n the sea scenery is realli veri beautiful...n v romantic... *浪漫*

looks like we were lying down..but we are not~! haha

too bad we didnt get to see the sun set..cos it is covered by the clouds... oh my 天....讨厌! i muz make sure i will watch it again... 看不到就不回新加坡了...

since cant watch sun set...we entertain ourselves...haha...feet of F4...

then at night we 外带晚餐 n eat at our level common room...n watch tv... have our own party siaz lolz...but is a quiet one... n we like the 便當盒 very much... n is made of paper..can recycle... so ntu should adopt this idea too...heez...

then after dinner we acc xin rui back to her previous hostel (she just moved to international village) to take back her sport shoes...so i have seen the hostel for taiwan students...is 4 person share a room n the room is smaller than the room here, the international village...n the bed is on top of the study table... but then i find that it is alright ... although a bit old...but then is v cheap... i should have choose that..haha... then i can get to noe tw pple lolz... n also jap n korean... coz i just got to noe a korean fren...her name is 百善英...她是摄影系的..会说中文...说起中文的时后很可爱...因为不太流利所以有很多动作, 但我都明百她要说甚么... 然后她给我们看她学长帮她拍的照片(作业来的)...超美的..好像韩国名星(很会摆pose)...是真的喔~! 她又很会穿搭衣服..所以我们以经邀她做我们的型像顾问了..呵呵...

还有, 我隔壁房刚搬来了个日本人..太好了...叫左藤娜绪(dunnoe correct or not)...一定要跟她学日语哈哈...

orientation...

today went for our orientation at 9am... at first we listened to welcome speech from dean of office of international affairs, n head of division of student exchange..n gave us a student handbook...then we watched a video introducing kaohsiug city...showing us the places of interest all that...after that is lunch time..n we were provided 便當...这是我在台湾第一次吃到便當勒...呵呵...然后吃省的食物和纸盒都得分类丢掉...那去recycle (资源回收)

after lunch we went to computer lab n set our log in password...same as NTU de....after that we were supposed to tour ard the sch...lead by the students there..but then we didntjoin the tour...coz we more or less noe the way alr... heez... coz hav to go out to collect our stamp (刻印..with our chinese name) to open bank account....

n this is the exit of the tunnel.....now then i noe the meaning of the sch logo...mountain is coz the sch is built on the mountain...n the below part symbolizes 西子灣.... is the bay we can see from our sch...so beautiful..

we waited for the bus for v long..so we took picz while waiting haha... here the cost per trip is NT$12..no matter how far is the distance... so cheap~! the bus passed the famous 爱河..but haven been to there yet.. n there will be 燈会held there from 3rd march... celebrate 元宵 i think... i wana go hahhaa...muz be v nice~!

n finally got back to sch...went back to office of international affairs...the get the hostel payroll n pay our fees. NT$14,000 is the amy we hav to pay... haha... 'pok kai' liaoz lah wahahha... n then my frenz say that normal hostel is onli hav the amount siaz... so much diff~!then becoz i didnt hav an medical insurance....n the sch insurance onli covers accident insurance...so i hav to get one myself n giv the proof to the sch..so mafan loh...so need to call home n ask them get for me n mail the proof here...argh~!!~n thats how my orientation ends...rushing here n there haiz.... n then after that the 7 of us decided to go out to 新誳江...it is sth liek bugis streets...many diff stalls along the streets... n also a bit like the 五分铺 in taipei...n then omg.. we (me, wei yu n wan jun) onli walked to the second stall then we were persuaded to buy clothes le haha... coz the sales lady realli power loh... keep saying n sayingn without letting u to tok haha...then we couldnt resist then our money fly to the salesperson le loh haha... they realli 很会讲话咯... then argh... 我又忍不住买了包包跟多一件衣服...think i gotta eat bread from now on le haha.... but then....the things i bought altogether...2 clothes, one skirt n one bag....total is S$50... so i feel is ok loh heez...then we split n took cab back to sch ... then the taxi driver say actually he let 6 of us squeeze in loh..then can save money...but then too late the other 3 alr got into another cab leh...n this tzsi driver...still got promotion one wor...he gave us his namecard, say that nextt ime we need a cab can call him...then he gave us 20% discount haha ...so funny siaz...

高雄旗津一日遊

yest me, pl and the other 5 pple from ntu (finally get to see them~!) went to 旗津... it is v near to our sch ..just hav to take a ferry (ard 5 mins) across. we set off at ard 9 and walked towards the 碼頭 n the fare is onli NT$10. Actually a bit like pulau ubin in singapore...coz is like an island..of coz is bigger than ubin, and u can rent a bicycle, NT$100 (5 bucks) for whole day, n there is also a free tour guide to take u ard the island for 2 hours, explaining to u all history of certain buildings... there are many places of interest, like historical places such as 旗后天后宫 n 旗后炮台 , light tower (旗后燈塔), beaches, parks胞(海岸公園 和 風車公園) jetty, aquarium, etc... n along the main road there are also many bbq stalls such as 烤小卷 (squid) and seafoods stalls...too bad i cant take seafood haha... top left pic--> view taken from the ferry...高雄市...the tall building is the tallest building at 高雄..but i dunnoe the name haha... top right pic is the jetty where we alight.. n below is two of us took a pic wif xin rui on the ferry...v windy n v cold .. coz is in the morning...

let me intro....my sch 中山...haha is jsut opposite... on the mountain...

i was on the most top part of the 炮台...reaching the sky soon wahhaha.... n wearing shorts in winter... can u imagine lolz.... becoz the day before was so hot...so me n pl thou is hot tt day also...so both of us wear shorts haha...who noes when night come is super windy n both of us keep shivering lolz..n the pple there keep looking at us when we walk past... thinkn we are realli '怪脚' haha...

taken at the beach.... the sea is realli v nice... i love it ~! haha...realli is verybeautiful siaz~! n notice the sand is actually black colour.. but i dunnoe the reason for it...

this is the 星光遂道...on the ceiling there are luminuous pic on it..such as the horoscope... n when u clapped ur hand u can hear birds chirpping...n there are many stray dogs...n there are also many pet dogs as well... their owners are realli good to them...so 幸福喔...n the pple there seem carefree siaz... 溜狗, 散步, 放風筝, 钓鱼 等等..真好~! there is also a 貝殻展視舘...it is the largest in aisa...got many species of shells... n they are categorized as 陆貝, 淡水貝 和海洋貝, 它們原来都是軟軆生物. 那 有些是有神經毒的 (叫芋螺, 倒挂三角型的), 不能碰. there are also rare species that survived for billions of years.. so interesting......

这些都是一個伯伯钓到的....那条很漂亮的鱼是有毒的...(神經毒) n he put back into the sea....top right is the puffer fish... not fully bloated haha ...n he say this one is not posionuous...

砍坷的一天....

终于到了中山大學...真的是困難重重lohz....we left taipei in the morn n coz our hostel is on the second floor... we hav to carry our lugguages down all by oursleves~!(coz when we first came jl nn another guy there helped us to carry ) so we really use our 吃奶的力 to carry down loh...20 kg u noe....can faint....haha but then we made it in the end...
we took 客運 (8am) n after 4 hours we reached kaoshiung station.. coz we got 大包小包to carry... we took a cab to the sch...which on the mountain... n taxi driver keep asking me where to stop ... as if i noe where the hostel is loh...i was trying to look for direction but he keep asking then i peh chek tell him drop us anywhere ...then hu noes we alight at 文學院..which is where lectures are held... n when we ask the students passed by, then we noe that we were v far from the hostel...OMG... we were so helpless then... no cab go up there anymore...then we ask the security 伯伯..he is v nice, he tried asking for a car to drive us. but then dun haf lah... then in the end he helped us to call a cab there loh. then we finally found the hostel admin office.. the staff gave us the keys n piangz..me n pl were arranged to a different room...sobz... he say cant change room for the time being la... so no choice we cant do anything also...
then our hostel is at the other side of the office also...the international dorm... got slopes there...the staff v hao xin... say we 2 gers carry so heavy de lugguage so he use his 机车to carry our lugguages up to the hostel..haha...u imagine loh... is so dangerous loh...the lugguages will drop anytime siaz we so scared haha... but then better then we pull all the way up ourselves mah...
then we lived in the third floor~! omg no lift.... how to carry up ~!~!!~ then when we were trying to carry slowly ourselves, a tw student there saw us so 狼狈 so he offered to help us to carry up to our rooms haha... n then he also offered to show us ard the places ard our hostel..like 7-11, post office, sch building all that... so all i muz say is that tai wan pple are really nice n helpful... so grateful of them~!
but then that is not all... we dun haf a mattress~~~~! coz it is not provided...n then the福利社is closed for the new yr... n then we dun hav a buddy to bring us to other places to buy...so...the first night we slept on 木板loh... next say 腰酸背痛....sobz...but then heng is all over~! haha

outside out hostel ... the international dorm is mix one... then the hostel for taiwan pple is one building for guy n another for gers... then our level think onli we 2 are chinese siaz.....

our first dinner in sch...i ate 炸酱面...nice~~ haha n 很大份..so full.... but then i hungry again at midnight....

Day 5 @ 台北...陽明山 N 中正纪念堂...

that day we went to 陽明山 in the morning...n then after jl lee went back to camp in the evening.. me n pl went to 中正纪念堂 ourselves haha...n also went to nght market AGAIN lol...this time was the 篩大夜市..but then is not as 热鬧 compared to others...foto time...heez...

i noe that many artists held their concerts here... there is a very big open space...one of concerts held there was energy (their veri first concert) hehez.. n of coz... v windy n cold that night...we went inside the memorial hall of 'jiang-gong', the president..but it closed very early 630pm..

in the morning we went to yang ming shan...there is flower festival (花季)...we took 'jie yun' to 剣潭站 n then change bus which go up to yang ming shan...the journey was quite long...ard 40 min... a bit like the road to 'da yu shan' in hk ( if anyone has been there will noe)...the bus stop at the terminal there n we had to walk up ourselves...the weather was good tt day...sunny...but windy also... n v nice scenery~!~!~~!....

好好吃的烤地瓜....在这麼冷的天气吃真是棒~!

this is the view from the top of the yang ming shan...nice hor...but then the pic is taken by jL coz me n pl realli buay tahan...the stairs are soooo long n high all the way up...so we gave up halfway n wait for jl to go up himself n take the pic for us...whe he came down he will sweating like mad siaz haha.. 辛苦他了啦...heez/.. but then on they way he keep nagging us...say we are老人...say onli noe how to study... haha...but we heck care him lolz~!
we bought ice cream on our way back.... but this realli look like 大便, 哈哈哈~! but is v nice... pl bought 烧仙草...melted glass jelly....v nice~!

好多路人喔~~~ but then i didnt get to see the night view of whole taipei lehz.... haiz... cannot find that place at yang ming shan also... i wan go there again... night time ba... haha...
